St. Croix Industries/Extended Opportunities had its beginning in 1974 with the formation of the St. Croix County Workshop on the grounds of the St. Croix Health Center.  Our mission is to provide habilitation and rehabilitation programs to residents of St. Croix County who are developmentally disabled and/or mentally ill, in order to assist them in achieving their highest level of personal, social, and vocational functioning while fostering inclusion in the community.

      _{GENERAL CRITERIA FOR ELIGIBILITY}

1. The individual must be of work age. (if under age 18, a work permit must be obtained)

2. The must be a handicap to employment. (i.e. developmental, physical, mental)

3. There must be a voluntary desire to participate.

4. The individual must not be harmful to himself/herself or others.

5. Sufficient and appropriate recent medical, psychological, and social reports must be available prior to entry.

6. Eligibility is limited to St. Croix County residents unless prior financial arrangements are made.
